your mind is a jumbled mess

that you can't keep organized

trains of thought get lost

the tracks are crossed

how are you so wise? 

you're a genius, yet simple things

are hard to comprehend

sometimes it's funny, sometimes frustrating,

sometimes i think you pretend

you keep me on my toes

that's one thing for sure

trying to keep up with you

will never leave me bored

i love the puzzle that is your mind

even when i'm perplexed

i will struggle, search and find

but i'll never love you less

Happy Three Kings Day!

This is the day that the three Kings or Magi brought gifts to baby Jesus. Some people skip Christmas and give/get their gifts today-- or they do both. The children put a box or shoes under their bed with grass or hay for the camels and in the morning they find the grass has been eaten and they are left with a gift from the Kings!

I find it funny when people first learn about this holiday and have a negative reaction or say they don't believe in it, but they celebrate an imaginary fat man squeezing up and down chimneys, flying on a sleigh with reindeer. Ho, ho, ho!
