Save Me

if i were to fall

off of a cliff

would you warn me

or just stand there stiff?

if i were drowning

in high tide

would you reach out from the boat 

or continue to ride?

if i had a drink 

in which you saw poison was slipped

would you take it away

or watch me sip?

if i were lost in the dark

and had no sight

would you leave me to stumble

or shine your light?

if i were choosing wrong

about to backspin

would you talk sense into me

or allow me to sin?
